My character or my child's character??... Because my daughter who has autism would be "story butterfly". Story butterfly is a charater for her book she is writing, about a butterfly living in a library that reads to children to help them learn. My daughter can't read or write yet, though she tries so very hard too. She loves books and also her mother writes them, (that would be me ;o) . So she decided she wants to make up stories too. I have started to listen to her stories and I am writing them down. I plan on getting a recorder to help in the process. She has Autism and it does not take away from her creative gene that has obviously passed on to her :o) So although she can't read herself... I read to her often and we just try try again. :o)
My character would be a crazy goofey goof ball that always tries to get her children's attention by being a total goof ball! haha... If you only knew the crazy things I do to get thier attention... :oP ~Tawny Pipit~

I identify with "Super Cilantro Girl" -- not a book a read as a child, but love as adult -- as half Mexican, half US American growing up in Mexico, and seeing many loved ones deal with this issue.

Green like my mother’s salsa verde,
green like the earth in Spring.
Take me across the mountains to my mamá
so I can hear her songs again.

My son would be Lightning McQueen. He loves anything with wheels; trains, cars, busses, "big" trucks, monster trucks, go carts, mopeds, bikes, you name it. He is 5 and a joy to be around. I think this is the perfect age so far. He is just learning to read so reading with him is easy and racking up the time here is fast!!
His dad made him a "Mac the Truck" bunk bed. he is in heaven!!

If you ask certian family members they would say I'm definatly Hermione Grainger from the Harry Potter series. I however fell more like Hinata Hyuga a character from the Naruto seires of Manga that my son and I are reading together. Shes more on the shy and quiet side definatly more like me.
