- I'm an older mom but its the best thing that has happened to me. I am originally from Florida and have lived in Reno now for 30 years. My son is 5 1/2 years old and is in Kindergarten. I love to read however the only things I get to read anymore are books for my son, I have'nt read anything for myself in awhile, (book that is) that is why I love this challenge to show people how important it is to read to children so they can see their little eyes light up when you do read to them, turn off the T.V.'s and gameboys and open the books!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I WILL TRAVEL TO GHANA, WEST AFRICA TO READ AND DISTRIBUTE 100 DR. SUESS BOOKS TO CHILDREN IN HOSPITALS. ALSO WILL DISTRIBUTE EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL AND WATER BOTTLE AT LOCAL SCHOOLS.
