My children are typical, but I keep 2 autistic brothers. I am also into poetry. I used to go to open mike nights to share my work. I haven't been lately due to conflict in schedule and energy level. I haven't written poetry in over a year. My oldest Daughter has several poems on poetry.com.

I should get my oldest on that, she is in her second year of college. My littles is on my lap looking at your kids on your scrolling photo's and my 2nd grader is at school right now. I just shot an e-mail off to her teacher on a futher project in the classroom.

Thanks! I sure do...I tell everyone it's a constant "party" at my house! I see that you have a daughter with autism. I am the director of our "Special Needs Ministry" at my church (as a volunteer). We have lots of kiddos with autism and are currently planning a vacation bible school specifically for kids with autism for this summer. I see the pics of your kids...very cute, also! And you wrote a book? I wrote a children's book based on my middle son when he was about 2. It's not yet published, but we're working on it.
Thanks, I think they are pretty cute...yours are on the cute side, as well...I have a friend who's sone has pdd and another friend who piloted an autism classroom in our school district...she is now on the district behavior team specializing in autism...I think it's very cool you wrote a children's book...I LOVE to write, very theraputic, but I know I don't have the attention span to write a novel, so I have often thought about writing a children's story...anyway, thanks for the welcoming into the myspace-esque world of Air Space...
